Today, we celebrate Ramakrishna Jayanti as we commemorate the birth anniversary of the great spiritual and religious leader Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. As per the Hindu lunar calendar, Ramakrishna was born on Dwitiya in the month of Phalguna during Shukla Paksha. Every year on this day his birth anniversary is observed across the world

Ramakrishna played a key role in uplifting people by informing them of their importance and values in human society. He is also known for performing the highest samadhi, the highest state of mental concentration that opens the way to seeing the highest reality and attaining enlightenment. His teachings and moral values make him the greatest of all time. 

                                                                                                                                                 

He was a renowned spiritual saint of pre-independence India. He was a spiritual who guided those seeking spiritual enlightenment. One of Ramakrishna’s most well-known disciples was Swami Vivekananda who founded Ramakrishna Math that works for the welfare of other people and helps in the spread of the spiritual movement known as the Ramakrishna Movement worldwide. Throughout his life, he believed and taught that the only way to attain enlightenment is self-control, sacrificing greed and materialistic desires, would open every door to get enlightenment.
